Journal Features!

Hey there, everyone! I present to you my first (of many, I hope) journal feature. Theme: Emotion. Now, at first I was going to put the deviations in categories (Sadness, Anger etc.) but then I realized how so many of them could be interpreted in many different ways. So, I present to you, 25 fantastically emotional deviations (and 3 fantastically emotional written word pieces) , up for your interpretation. Please give these talented deviants some love! Out at CampIce crunch under our feet,
Leaves are kicked around,
Sliding along, stuck to our boots,
The trees around us stand at attention,
Tall and lanky, their branches
Heavy with icicles, that icy treat,
The stars above us illuminate,
Glowing brightly, guiding us.
As I stare up at them, I clutch
At my mother’s hand,
For this is my first time away from home,
With no one to spend the week with but my mom.
I wish to turn and go back home,
To flee Davis and retreat to Lewisville,
But my mom calms me down,
Tells me that it’s all right, comforting me.
Now I feel better, watching as our beds are pushed together,
How I liked to sleep next to my mom at night,
And to know that I could do so here
Helped me move past my fears
For what was a camping field trip with such emotion?
And now we stand, staring down the hill,
As the trees slope downward, like
Hundreds of tall, skinny dominos,
Then we walk to the lake, standing on the
Bridge, kicking rocks down before
We head down the cliff, only to be
We Five Years LaterOh so many years ago,
the very last years of your life,
you still wag your little tail,
waving in little circles,
and your brown, dimming eyes,
yet still hold their sad look.
Ailing, you come into my room,
sickly, you come to spend precious,
oh so precious moments, just with me.
Moments pass us by quietly,
something breaks the peaceful silence,
I turn and look, and there you are,
hacking up air, unable to keep it in,
and there you stand, shaking.
Quickly, I yell at you, tell you
to get out – no longer to do I wish
for you to be by my side
Hurriedly, you rush out, before your
stomach gives out. There, you vomit
in the hallway, right in front of
my doorway. To it, I shut my door,
not wanting to see, but rather deny it.
Years later, I know much better
On your anniversary, as I lay down another rose,
I can't help but wonder;
Do you forgive me, my harsh words?
Do you still love me as much as I still love you?
Now I wish that I acted differently,
to go back and treat you much better,

Hello everyone! I'm excited to say that I will now be offering various services including, but not limited to, photo retouching (whether it be just colour correction and removing blemishes or completely glamorizing a portrait!), photomanipulations (I'm more experienced with macabre and dark manips but if you have a request for your photo, I'll definitely give it a whirl!) and general restoration and/or recolouring of old or black and white photos.

The basics:
1. If you're interested in my services, send me a note with a link to your high-res photo and your email address and what you'd like done to the photo (and any timelines and restrictions I should know about).
2. I'll send you a note back with a quote on how much it will cost and how long I'll expect it to take me.
3. When I'm done I will send you a low-res version of the finished photo for your approval.
4. If you are happy with the finished product, I will send an invoice via PayPal to your email where you can then click the link in the email and complete the payment (you do NOT need to have a PayPal account to do this).
5. Once I receive the payment, I will send you the link to the high-res version of your photo.

And that's basically it.
